Our stunning Primary School building was officially opened on Thursday 6 June 2024, allowing us to welcome 60 more primary school students each year.
Designed by Old Boy and founder of phorm architecture + design, Paul Hotston, the building is a testament to both his skills as an architect and to his knowledge and love of our great College.
Careful site selection, informed by the Master Plan, and skillful orientation onsite, have resulted in a building that makes the most of light, breezes, and views.
Simple materials in the hands of a master architect combine to create internal and external spaces that show our youngest boys we value their learning and understand their needs. Flexible teaching and meeting areas support the boys’ academic and social development.
Half hidden by established trees (protected during the build) and with a strong facade facing the Frasers Road entrance across ovals one and two, the building signals our commitment to reimagining our campus infrastructure to keep pace with the changing needs of our students and the wider community.
The Master Plan is a pragmatic response to the need for change and our Marist commitment to good stewardship. We are renovating and repurposing where we can and building new infrastructure where there is a clear need for new spaces, services, and technology to strongly support our boys now – and into the future.
