COLLEGE STRATEGY

The Marist College Ashgrove Master Plan is a bold statement of confidence in the College’s future. It’s about growth and it’s about quality.

The first redevelopment of this scale since the school was founded in 1940, the College has secured approval for a series of projects that will guide the evolution of our campus over the next 40 years.N

The Master Plan has been developed through consultation with College leadership, Marist Schools Australia, and the wider community. u

Driven by two Old Boys – architect Paul Hotston (1985) and urban planner Mark Kierpal (1988) – the Master Plan is coloured by a sense of respect for the College’s history, a keen awareness of what makes this campus special, and an appreciation of the Marist principles of simplicity, modesty, and humility. l

Some projects are already underway, among them the new Primary School and the refurbishment of the Cyprian Pavilion.l

Further College priorities include:a

  • Developing plans for a community space that will allow the whole school community to come together in fellowship and celebration
  • Enhancing our facilities across the STEAM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics)
  • Greening and re-shaping our campus to ensure it stands out amongst its peers for its beauty, its warmth and welcome, and its environmental standards
  • Being good stewards now so future generations are not burdened by debt.

This is a very exciting time to be a member of our College community. Decisions we make today will define the future of this great school. m
